i recently found the apps called the filmmachine which allowing me to attach sub to a avi file and convert them using cce to a dvd , whithout doing a lot , its basiclly a one click apps.

after successfully doing to dvd movie i started to gather a lot of movies which i always wanted to have as a dvd .

now some of the movies are devided to 2 part and some subs are in 2 parts . my question is if there is some way to add the two part avi into 1 so i could later run it in the filmmachine WITHOUT LOSING QUALITY (so they be as same as a regular 700mb avi file) and if there is a way to add the 2 part subs into 1 so they fit with the 1 part avi in a perfect sync ?

Hi!

Joining two .AVIs can be accomplished in VirtualDub (or any of its variants) by simply:

1) Loading the first file and then, from the "File" dropdown menu selecting "Append .AVI segment" and loading the second file.

2) Set BOTH "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copy"

3) Save with a new filename

What does that mean exactly? That you're working with downloaded material?

This appears to to be a discussion where Rule 6 applies.
