Hi All,
My budget for upgrade my 5 years old pc is ready :D but so hard to made desicion to choose hardware, need some guidelins from you all.
my spec are :
1. I am gamer (Zero hour, Warcraft 3 TFT.... future game as well)
2. I like video encoding & sound editor (like convert dvd to other formats, or cut/merging vob file)
3. I like to watch dvd 9, so playback must good one ;)
4. I like downloading, my system must be a stable system for run long long long hours (my old system can run 36hours as well as per now)
5. Cpu must 64bit enable for Vista 2007
Here are my plan, *suggest me if u have more details on it*
AMD Duron ---> Intel D940 / 950 (cant afford to buy Conroe) (*only buy Intel cpu cos have special discount even after july)
Sis Chipset 5598 ---> Intel Mainboard 945P chipset (cant afford tobuy 975 series)
133Mhz Sdram ---> Pc4200 Kingston / Corsair 512mb (Is it the Ram Mhz have very obvious performance from 533/667?)
64mb ddr Elsa Gforce4 mx440se ---> ATI X1600pro 12pipeline / Nvidia 6600LE / 7300gs 8pipeline (which brand are good for my spec, encoding/gaming/movie playback) (Sapphire/MSI/Asus for ATI, which are good???)(Nvidia also, which brand are good, Winfast ???) (cant afford go for higher model)
Sony16x dvd rom ---> Pioneer dvd writer 111 series (is it the Bulk pack dont have buffer under run & other feature like precision writing compare to it retail Box???)
Item remaining the same:
I have p4 PSU + casing now, is it can use for my new system?
Seagate IDE 200gb 7200rpm + 30gb 7200rpm
Creative Audigy sound card (oldest version)
My 8 button game pad
***It seem i dont have enough IDE port to support 2 IDE harddisk and DVD RW on the Intel 945P Mainboard, isn't it ??? ***
