FixVTS Version 1.3
Here's (http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS) the latest release of FixVTS.
Two improvements have been made:
When video_ts.vob is removed, the necessary tables are removed, which fixes problems that occured with DVDShrink.
Also, PGC cells that have obviously erroneous start/end LBA pointers are now corrected. PGC cells that reference non-existent VOB cells are remapped.

If video_ts.vob is entirely removed by FixVTS, the vmgm_c_adt and vmgm_vobu_admap tables are entire removed. This fixes crashes that occurred in Shrink during the analysis or the processing phase.
Added option in the UI to fix PGC LBA pointers. This adjusts the First VOBU start LBA, Last VOBU start LBA and Last VOBU End LBA in PGCs when these LBAs are obviously bogus and remaps a cell if it references something crazy. It should be on.
FixVTS now makes the necessary adjustments to the IFO tables when the number of VTS present on the DVD does not match the value(s) in the IFO.
Added command line option -l logpath to specify where to put the log.
The log was not being cleared when FixVTS was used in command-line mode. This is fixed.
Added logging of start and end time.
Removed annoying messages having to do with testing for empty VOB files.
Fixed the problem with the INI file path not existing in wine.
Fixed win 98 and ME crashes introduces in version 1.25
Added final completion message in Full DVD mode.
Added .ini option to put backup directory in the VIDEO_TS directory. You need to edit the .ini file to change that.

Great program!

But sometimes I had DVDs that were accepted by Nero but where criticized when those DVDs were fixed with FixVTS. I could fix this afterwards with IfoEdit (Get Sectors and sometimes with other repair features of IfoEdit.) I think this only happend when I used FixVTS's "Remove unref. and blank cell's" feature.

Nero does not like empty VOB files (for example, a 0-size vts_01_1.vob) even though it's totally legit. That's probably what you saw...

Thanks jeani !! :D :D

I must tell you how pleasantly pleased I was with v1.25.

Kids didn't load the disk properly and there were two "bite" marks!

As expected, DVDdecrypter couldn't extract a couple of VOBs. Then I tried this little program called COPYCAT which manage to salvage almost all the infos, a few 100Ks smaller than the origianal.

VOBblanker informed me that "NAV pack" missing, something something un-sync....as expected.

Tried IFOedit's "get vts sectors" and mock strip....both unsuccessful.

God knows what your FIXvts proggy did, voila! I got me now a poifect backup!

Merci coocoo!

Thought so, too. Since this is the error message I got first. - But it doesn't show this message after I fixed it with IfoEdit:

I used the options "Get VTS Sectors" and VOB/Menu Extras: Ajust VOB unit pointers + Ajust Audio/Subpict. pointers + Correct VOB unit pointers + Correct original IFO files. And Nero has no more any problem with empty or even missing VOB files!?
