I've been working on a little program that makes putting my AVI files on a DVD a little easier. I'm not an expert at DVD authoring, these really are my first steps into it, so there's some thigns that are unclear to me. I'm hoping someone here can help me answer my questions so I can make my program just that bit better. :)
This is what the program is like so far; add your titles, add audio\subtitles to each title, set project details and set it to work.

What I'm still wondering about;
* If I tag an MPEG2 stream to have a 16:9 aspect ratio, a DVD player will stretch the image sideways before displaying it. So what the setting currently does is stretch the input vertically so that it fits exactly into the 720x480 or 576 resolution. Is this the correct way of doing it?
* My subtitles are not always getting muxed, or at least, the filesize of the muxed mpg increases, but my DVD player sees no subtitles available. I'm using spumux to mux my subtitles in, maybe someone is aware of some limitations with this program?
* Can you use different aspect ratio's for each title on a DVD? Right now you can specify the aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9) per title, but that might not be The Right Way?
