well, as the title says, I would just like an option in autoGK for setting manual-cropping regions. Is there a hidden menu I didnīt find yet, or is this option just missing???

There's a "hidden menu," after you load a video hold Ctrl and press F9. Manual cropping is there.

thanks alot, that helped me out!

do you just by chance have another hint for finding those settings? i suppose there isnīt a second hidden menu with a preview option???

right now i load my .vob file into virtual dubmod and adjust cropping in the filter, cropping option - a little time consuming...

Hi, and welcome to the forum

Regarding settings for crop, made a search with autogk+crop; got these results:

They cover quite a wide range of problems, you may find solutions.

For preview, select source, define output, hit preview (on the right of advanced settings) :)

I use Gordian Knot for most of my encoding - it usually gives an accurately resized preview for cropping purposes. On the occasions I've used AutoGK on problematic material, I've loaded a small sample into Gordian Knot and set the crop parameters, then opened the project with AutoGK and just used the same settings.
