how to change subtitle positions in encoded movie?

Hi, I currently am using autogk 2.27. I recently encoded Hero with subtitles, and it turns out fine, except it has yellow subtitles that are overlayed on top of the movie.

I would like the subtitles to move down a notch to become below the movie, instead of over it.

How can I change the subtitle position?

Use DVDSubEdit (assuming you're encoding to a VOB, i.e. a DVD). open the vob, and use the borders to indicate where you'd like the bottom line of the subs to fall. Then you can check the flush button so the subs move down to hit that line.
Then apply to all, then save...
