Some threads, for example:

LimitedSharpen
fft3dfilter
ffdshow
Media Player Classic
ReClock Filter

are many pages long with hundreds of replies, making navigation and searching these topics quite difficiult.

Would it be easier to have these in sub forums within the releavent main forums, so that future discussions can be split up into different threads?

Discussion is always either "how do I get this to work" "here's my results, can you help me refine them?" "here's a patch to fix/speedup something" though. They aren't much trafficked most of the time either, except ffdshow right now. A set of FAQs should be sufficient, if you're looking for latest versions or how to set it up, at the most split threads like megui/ffdshow.

For the avisynth ones at least, the wiki would make a lot of sense; branch pages off of the filters' main pages with FAQs, setups, example results, etc.

God knows some wiki action around here would be extremely helpful...

And in the IFO\VOB editor section also. Got some great programs in there with things scattered about.
