HELP: sub to ssa format probs

Hi

Having some probs with a .sub file that i need to convert to a .ssa file so that it can be used with VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1
useing the subtitler filter by Avery Lee.

Anyone know of a good prog to use to do the converting ??

Just an update the .sub file has 8 streams in it, but i only need 1 (eng)
I can now use wmp 6 and get the subs shown, but i would like to embed the
eng stream into the video if i can.

Can nobody help me with this prob ????

The Subtitle files are Vobsub with a .idx file.
I have edited the .idx file with VobSubStrip so that there is only the eng stream, this prog then saves out a new
.sub and .idx files, now i need to convert to .ssa format, so
that it can be used with VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 to mux the
subtitles with the video.

SubRip if it's graphical subs format.
SubtitleWorkshop, Medusa, AegiSub if it's text sub format.

Thanks for your reply.

Am not to sure wat type of file it is, i got the film and subs
off the net and they are in 2 files .idx and .sub, The files
are to big to attach here, but i have attached the idx file from part 1 for peeps to look at, dont know if it will be of any
help.

I have try the progs that you listed, and loads more, but they dont seem to do what i need:mad:

LOL LOL:) just done a test with VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 and the VobSub 2.23 Filter and it did mux the subs
file into the video ok.

Thank God i was loosing my mine over this:)
