I can't seem to be able to open dv avi file with nandub or virtualdub, can someone please help me with this? The search seems to be disabled so I couldn't find any info on this. I know there must be a way. When I try to open the clip it says
"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'dvsd' (unknown)"

Can someone please walk me through this one? Or is there a site that would help me out with this.. PLease HELP...

Just played with this a few days ago...

Open the DV .avi in Tmpg. I used Even-field deinterlace since my cam is NTSC 29.97 interlaced. Save the .tpr file. Open the .tpr in Vfapi and save a pseudo .avi. Open the .avi in vdub/nandub (finally).
