I am using the following:
-VirtualVCR
-Huffyuv codec (works)
-PICVideo JPEG Lossless codec (does not work)
-nVidia VIVO (GeForce 7800GT)
-my own SVHS VCR (for cable tuning)
I can record fine with no dropped frames with Huffyuv (32.4GB/hour, including WAV 48KHz audio). However, if I use most any other codec, including PICVideo's JPEG Lossless, I get this error:
"Could not render filter
Smart Tee -> Compression Codec -> Flow meter"
Using the Smart Tee filter is the only way I can preview. If I disable Smart Tee for encoding, it still gives the same error messsage. I have all the filters that come with VirtualVCR regsvr'd and still receive the error with PICVideo. I really just want to save some space.
Help is gladly appreciated. I have done some searching however nothing pops up for "flow meter." I understand most of you guys seem to be using VDub but that's just too slow on my system (although I have a Athlon 64 3500+). I guess I have yet to try the VfWWDM thing.
