I am using PGCedit to clean a little my dvd's, but im having problems with a dvd, before i open it in PGCedit it loaded fine in DVDShrink and after open it in PGCedit, DVDShrink gives me an error, i started doing some tests and i just loaded and save the DVD in PGCedit and without changing anything and the file VIDEO_TS. IFO changes it's size and no longer loads in dvdshrink.
I don't think im doing something wrong becouse i do not change anything in PGCedit. What could be wrong?...

You are ripping the DVD and loading it in PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) v 7.1.2 and just saving yes?
This should not cause any problems. On some ARccOS disks, PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) fixes some things like phoney VTSs and pointers. If a VTS has been deleted this way enough info in VIDEO_TS.IFO just might make it smaller by 2k, but I really doubt it.
What movie is it?
Regards
Can you send me the original IFOs, and the IFOs saved by PgcEdit? I'll have a look. Also, what is the error message of DVD Shrink?

it look's like the souces are bad, even if i can open them in DVDshrink when i click the Backup button i received an error "Out of memory" - The parameter is incorrect.
I recompressed it using DVDrebuilder so i only use DVDshrink just to check if everything is ok, so i dont know if the IFOs are of any good, i checked the dvd and seems to be all right, maybe a ripping error, so i'll send the IFOs if they're any good...
Thanks

Sorry for my english, but im Mexican and even my Spanish is BAD...
Send them anyway. If I can find the twist, perhaps I'll add a check to avoid this problem in the future.
[EDIT] OK, I just received your IFOs. Thanks!
OK, I've analysed your IFOs.
In the original DVD, the VMGM_C_ADT and VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP tables are defined, but they have 0 entries. (BTW, I suppose there is no VIDEO_TS.VOB file.)
When PgcEdit loads the DVD, it detects that VMGM_C_ADT has zero entries, and removes completely this useless table. This is why the new IFO is 2KB (one sector) shorter.
However, PgcEdit doesn't remove the VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP table. It's not really a bug, but certainly a discrepancy. If the VMGM_C_ADT is removed when it is empty, the VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP should be removed also, in the same circumstances.
Seems DVDShrink doesn't like the fact that VMGM_C_ADT doesn't exists, but VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP is present, even if it is empty. DVDShrink is sometimes very picky!
To avoid this problem, load the DVD in PgcEdit, right click on any PGC of the VMGM menu, and select "Blank out all Menu PGCs". When asked if you want to remove the VOB file (even if it doesn't exist), answer yes. This will force PgcEdit to remove all references to VIDEO_TS.VOB, including the whole VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP table. The new IFO should be 2 sectors (4 KB) shorter than the original, and DVDShrink should not complain any more.
I will add a check in PgcEdit to avoid this problem in the future, and, when the VMGM_VOBU_ADMAP table is empty, delete it completely.
Thanks for the information!
