I want to remove the second 'angle'/story from a DVD, but retain the main menu etc...

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=111793

That's the backstory. I've demuxed VTS_01 and, having checked the convert to VOBs checkbox, have six VOB files. The problem is that the old VTS_01_1.VOB contained my main menu. And the new demuxed one doesn't. I just don't have the understanding to be able to go much further than this now - I can't find any tutorials and don't know what I'm doing. Can somebody please point me either towards a tutorial or give me some advice.

Normally yourmenu will be in VTS_01_0.VOB, although using BOV, it is not illegal to have menus in titles.

Are you sure your menu was in VTS_01_1.VOB???

Ahh... yeah, I'm an idiot.. sorry.
So now I have the menu in VTS_01_0.VOB and the movie stripped from 8 VOBS to 6, how do I change the IFOs or whatever I need to change so that I can replace the old double story VOBs my new main movie VOB files? I tried a few things in IFOedit and PgcEdit, but nothing seemed to work.

Do not use pgcdemux for this job
A good option is Vobblanker, you can blank PGCs or, using as a previous step del_angles (included in the zip), remove all angles except one.

Thanks jsoto, del_angles and VobBlanker did the trick. I'd tried it before, but had 'process titles' unchecked because I had no idea what any of the terms meant. Now that I've been forced to play around with IFOedit and PgcEdit, I'm a little less ignorant.
