I have a real strange problem. Suddenly my cce is acting weird. If I encode a anime avi of 24 minutes with VBR 3 pass or 1 pass, the avi becomes shorter, about 22 minutes. But if I use CBR is goes well. Have also made the sound file in cce to see how long it was and it was 24 minutes.
Have format my pc and installed windows xp again, but strange enough the problem is still there.
The settings under cce I use are progressive and zigzag scanning.
Please help me. I don't know wat to do. :confused:

Don't know if this is your problem -- but the reported time can be off extremely when playing back an MPV created with CCE (before multiplexing in the audio). Probably the MPEG2 filters used in playback... In my experiences (where this is the problem) the video was actually fine... It only seems to happen with VBR.

Have mux the .mpv and the mp2 together and the mpg is ok then :)
You are right about mediaplayer that don't give the right time of the .mpv file.
