Hello. Im a newbie to the Doom9 Forum and, my name's Emy. Well, ive got a problem and, i dunno how to solve it. I just ripped the "Advanced Resolution 5.1 sound" off a DVD-Audio with PPCMRipper and, the resulting PCM extracted file, has the wrong channel order. The channel order of the PCM, goes in this way: FL, FR, SL, SR, C, LFE. What do i need to do to adjust the PCM channel order with the proper settings?? If possible, i dont want to loose the quality of the PCM file so, if you can suggest me a method that wont affect the audio quality, it will be good. Possibly, a LOSSLESS solution. Thanks and sorry if this has been already asked.

Only AviSynth and BeHappy can help you to do this Losslesly, if you know what is AviSynth. You need download both here is AviSynth (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/avisynth2/AviSynth_220406.exe?download) and here is BeHappy, (http://forum.doom9.org/showpost.php?p=829754&postcount=259) Install it both and make new text file called test.avs and open it into notepad, copy paste this script

a=wawsource("name_of_the_file.wav")
a=GetChannel(a,1,2,3,4,5,6)
return areplace name_of_the_file.wav with you wav file and save file

Now open this avs file in BeHappy and select wav for output, encode and that is that, easy right?

shon3i, you know I love Behappy but not only BeHapy can do this Losslesly.

There are also WaveWizard (at http://needfulthings.c-f-h.com/ ), using the appropriate remapping, and BeSweet/BeLight spliting in mono wav's and after mux in correct order.

Sure, but BeHappy are simply.
Thatīs very relative.

You need download both here is AviSynth and here is BeHappy, Install it both and make new text file called test.avs and open it into notepad, copy paste this script

Quote:
a=wawsource("name_of_the_file.wav")
a=GetChannel(a,1,2,3,4,5,6)
return a
replace name_of_the_file.wav with you wav file and save file

Now open this avs file in BeHappy and select wav for output, encode and that is that, easy right?

U canīt actually say that this is simpler that 1) clicking "Add", 2) selecting the mapping to use, 3) clicking "Convert" (wich is how u do it in Wavewizard).
