(this one is on a 2-channel downmix, but got the same problem with 5.1)

Do I need to say more? Always got this with Gknot or Azidlamegui

Max gain finding got a bug?
(might be the wrong place to post this? if so, sorry)

It's caused because the maxium gain in azid is not low enough, you'll have to manually fix this yourself by doing advanced config in Gknot.

(movie: What's Eating Gilbert Grape? PAL INTERLACED 2-channel audio)

Exactly the same....
On the other movies I encoded I got like two 0.1dB overflows but this one got to much of em. Anybody else got these problems:confused:

Yeah, I get it on The Matrix every time like I said, it's to do with the maxium gain, you have to turn "auto find maxium gain" off and find it yourself which is easier to do in azidlameGUI then mux in nandub.

the overflows you get in auto mode are not really audible so you shouldn't worry about it too much. the author of azid even considers a 3db overflow acceptable but there I think you would actually begin to hear it (depending on how sensitive your ears are).
