Hi, I use the haali media splitter for my mkv (matroska) files. I have a file now with Japaneese audio, English audio and English subs. The problem is that the haali splitter always takes English audio over the Japaneese audio, no matter what settings of language preferences I use.
I've tried everything:
- set audio priority to jpn
- set audio priority to jpn,eng
- set audio priority to eng,jpn (just in case last was selected first)
- set audio & subtitle languages to jpn,eng
- set audio & subtitle languages to eng,jpn (just in case it was swapped around)
- set audio & subtitle languages to jpn, eng;eng, eng
In the video file the Japaneese audio track is the primary track and is selected as track that is to be used.
The first audio track has as comments:
Language tag [Japaneese] value: jpn
Name tag value: Dolby 5.1 Japanese
in both cases the tag name itself is not entered however (could that be it ?)
The second audio stream is tagged in the same way but is in english.
I really dont know what I could do about it except remove the english audio track from all files by hand. I dont want to have to go out of fullscreen click on the haali icon and select japaneese every time I want to watch any of these files.
For the record i'm using haali media splitter version 1.6.87.20 which I think is the latest version.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
