DVD-R video output is like watching Ondigital in a storm......

Very new to this...........

Trying to work out how to smooth out the video playback on my copied DVD's, the still shots are fantastic, but when the screen moves or somebody on the screen moves the picture gets distorted (blocky) but the audio stays in sync.

Any suggestions?

what is your system spec, gfx card/processor/OS/memory etc.

On-Board Graphics (64Mb)

plays DVD's and VCD's perfectly

the dvd-r i produced was of Planet of the Apes, i tried it on a stand alone and it was blocky when the screen moved
