After some hardcore testing from some dedicated Mac testers and some skilled programming from DARC. We are ready to unleash our DivX 4.11 Mac Alpha Decoder ONLY.

PLEASE.. VERY IMPORTANT... We need feedback!

- Quicktime 5.x

Q: Can DivX 4.11 for Mac play DivX Videos with MP3 audio?
A: Not currently. We are working with Apple to try and resolve this.

Q: Yes there is Mac OS X support
A: Yes it supports OS X

Q: When is the encoder coming out?
A: When it is done!... Seriously we are planning to come out with it shortly after the decoder beta testing is over with.

Q: Can I beta test test the encoder?

Q: Are you planning on a stand alone player for the Mac and not just a quicktime plug in?
A: This has yet to be determined

I have not a clue of an idea about macs, but a friend of mine owns one, can you tell me wich Sound-Codec I should use, when I want to encode a movie for him?
