Hey,
I'm am completely dumbfounded by the amount of stuff on demultiplexing and everything from DVB sources. Basically, I have a Panasonic Freeview (I'm in the UK) DVD Recorder, which burns it's discs into a DVD compliant mode. What I want to know is how do I get them to XviD? Do I just rip the VOB's using whatever software (DVD Decrypter or the like) and then feed those in to StaxRip (my encoding software of choice) and just encode?
If not, then what should I do?
I've tried to read a million and zillion guides, but none quite seem to make sense to me :(.
Thanks for any help, and sorry for going on.
