diacritical subtitles

Hello !

can somebody point me out to the right direction. I need to create subtitles that contain diacritical marks (Czech language), to be imported to Maestro. What is the right way of saving the TXT file. I can only import if I use ANSI coding of the text file, however this doesnt keep diacritical marks right.

If you can only import ANSI, and not UniCode, you need to set your default windows regional settings to Eastern Europe in order to keep the diacritics. Use Word/WordPad or even NotePad for editing. Word actually shows you characters that cannot be converted when you save a text file.
