r0lZ woundering if you have any idea what might be causing the following.
I use two monitors on my Radeon 9800 pro video card and extend the desktop across both.
When i use both monitors I cant watch the registers in trace mode, also if i have the main pgcedit screen on one monitor and select any of the menu headings in trace mode the popup menus appear on the other monitor rather then under the menu i clicked on.
The later is not really an big issue but not being able to view the register is a pain. I have no probs if just using one monitor
Any suggestion appreciated
Sorry for replying so late. I was away from my computer...
I don't understand why you could not see the registers. It's a normal window, and you should be able to open it on any monitor. What is exactly the problem? Can you see the watch window? Or is it that it is not refreshed? Does it work if the window is positionned on the same monitor than the main PgcEdit window? Have you tried to change the "Watch window on top" option?
I have no control on the "tearof menus". That's Tk stuff. And there are some bugs in this Tk function under Windows. (Under Linux, the tearoff menus are opened right under the mouse!)

Thanks for the reply,
I'm even later replying :) have been so bizzy.
I have managed to get the registers back but was a pain, didnt know about the option so will remeber for next time.
I can create the problem at will it seems, everytime i have to setup the monitors, which can happen from time to time. If i'm feeling brave, can't really remeber how i got the watch window back, or a little bored i'll try the watch option and let you know.
To open the watch window, you have to tick at least one of the options in the "Watch" menu. The watch menu is in the menu that is specific to the trace mode, on top of the trace pane.
Also, you should not close the watch window directly. It will be closed automatically when you quit trace mode, and reopened at the same position when you return to trace mode. If you close it manually, it is not reopened automatically. In brief, PgcEdit remembers its state and position when you quit trace mode, and restore it when you go to trace mode.
