is anyone using projectX?

when i use it, just keeping get errors like this:

!> dropping GOP# 2 @ orig.PTS 00:00:00.977 (88016), errorcode: 20
!> Pics exp/cnt 14/14, inGOP PTS diff. 83ms, new Timecode 00:00:00.600
!> dropping GOP# 3 @ orig.PTS 00:00:01.561 (140569), errorcode: 20
!> Pics exp/cnt 14/14, inGOP PTS diff. 83ms, new Timecode 00:00:00.600
!> dropping GOP# 4 @ orig.PTS 00:00:02.145 (193121), errorcode: 20
!> Pics exp/cnt 14/14, inGOP PTS diff. 83ms, new Timecode 00:00:00.600
!> dropping GOP# 5 @ orig.PTS 00:00:02.729 (245674), errorcode: 20
!> Pics exp/cnt 14/14, inGOP PTS diff. 83ms, new Timecode 00:00:00.600

and the video and audio files are both small in size,

it seems like almost all the GOPs are dropped ?

why??

How is MPEG2 encoded in China?

China tends to use formats like EVD and others that other countries don't use as much.

Perhaps their are differences that Project X wasn't designed to handle.

ProjectX is used with StaxRip to de-multiplex MPEG2 files, including my HDTV/ATSC Transport Stream captures. I have found that I get similar errors to yours when applying PX to NBC's "ER" program. The result is unusable.

I therefore now use VideoReDo Plus to demux "ER" and it works just fine. I suspect that DGindex would also work but haven't tried it.

I don't have any idea why ProjectX doesn't like these files--it works OK with other .ts I feed it i.e. from ABC-TV. Anyway I'm surprised to see so FEW reports of problems w/PX, it seems to be designed for European signals primarily (solely?).

ProjectX can't handle video streams with telecine flags (repeat_first_field, top_field_first, progressive_frame).

I didn't want to create a new topic to ask my Project X question. So: Is it possible to demux many ts files into many files, not one huge? Looked through all options and didn't find what I need. Is there such a feature? Need a batch demuxing tool...

Mpegstreamclip 1.1 can do that now in batch mode.

But I have to say, Mr Mpeg's demuxer the fastest and most accurate one out there.
