qpel recoding

I have some qpel material that I need to recode so I can watch them on my Kiss DP-1000.
What do you suggest I do? What's the best way to do that with minimal losses?

for minimal losses use high bitrate when recoding... there's no way of getting rid of qpel without recoding.
