I canīt encode Hanibal with 2-pass, anybody know why? All other movie works great with 2-pass, but not Hanibal, Iīve to use "standard" 1-pass, that works, but.....I want to do it with 2-pass.

I mean that it doesnt work, the only file that comes out of the encoding is the first-pass avi.file, and WITHOUT Audio, dont know fuc*ing why...Iīve done all the right configuarations (was that correct english?)

Please be more specific, there are so many programs out there to encode movies. So which program do you use, is there any error message displayed, what configuration do you have, which DivX Version...

Ok, I use DivX Codec 4.11. Iīve used Smartripper to rip the vobīs.
Xmpeg 4.1c to encode the movie. I chosed Non-compressed Audio, I always compress the audio to mp3 with Virtual Dub.
In Xmpeg i enable the 2-pass plugin, and chose 2-pass second pass. After all the other configuarations (audio, cropping etc), i chose 2-pass first pass in the Output Plugin Options.
Then i start the convension, and i start normal, but when itīve reached 100%, it doesnt start all over again like itīs supposed. And i end up with just the pass-2 first pass file, without audio.
Enough with information or do you need more?
Thanx!

Ok, that isn't so bad. Don't delete that log file! Just go back to the DivX configuration screen and instead of choosing 2-pass first pass, choose 2-pass second pass. Then in the lower right select the log file that was created in the first pass. Hit ok and encode like normal. It will create an .avi file this time with sound.

You're probably asking how to make it automatic, but to this, I have no idea.

Ok, thanx, iīll try it one more time...
But with all the other movies iīve done, iīve done like i wrote, and i didnt have to start it over again, Xmpeg did it by itself.
Cheers!! ;)
