With that thread, please note that if you use blubberbirne's script, you have to set the audio delay in the xvid encoder. If you don't, the resulting XviD will have a delayed audio.

If you use my script, you do not have to set the delay in the encoder, because if you do, the audio will actually be too early instead of delayed.
