I have a DVD of a concert of which I would like to retrieve the audio from, split by chapters.
I am not overly picky what format it decodes to (.wav, .mp3, etc) I figure once I get it split out, re-encoding it is the easy part.
Any suggestions on how to go about this?
Thanks!

Hi!
One simple way would be to rip the DVD using DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4 in "IFO" mode, and rip by chapter...

I would have to do each chapter one at a time though wouldn't I? There's 20+ chapters on the DVD (actually, two DVD's, not sure how many more are on the second yet).

Nevermind, just right clicked and found the "by chapter."
I think this will do what I wanted - thanks!

I was able to separate the audio from my music dvd and burn mp3 as one long file. is there a way to break the file into individual songs?
Thanks

Use mp3DirectCut. It's freeware.
'You can directly cut, copy, paste or change the volume (of mp3) with no need to decompress your files. This saves encoding time and preserves the original quality, because nothing will be re-encoded.'
