Hello

I learn to use AutoGK very well and now I rip my DVD'S to xvid very often.

I want to ask you professionals how to add feature at the processof the rip.

I want to add credits at the beginning of a movie. something like LOGO(scroll text)

It a sentences that move from side to side up and down just for a 10 seconds at the start of the movie..

Here is a sample to what I mean:

It's a little avi file please look at it

I know how to do it with virtualdub and AviSynth and DirectVobSub,
Here is the topic that I learn how to do it:

My question is if there any way that I combine this feature at the prosecc of AutoGK instead of rip the movie again after I finish use AutoGK?

I hope I make my self clear!! (I'm not an english speaker)

Thanks for the help

This is not possible in AutoGK.

The best you could do would be to use AutoGK's hidden "subtitle" input, and create your own custom subtitle file that contains the credits (or logo).

When you open AutoGK, once you have loaded the input file, press Control+F8.

This will allow you to import a subtitle file. Make your custom subtitle file (there are programs out there that will do this for you) and load it into AutoGK. Encode as you would normally. The custom subtitles will show up on the created movie.

I have done this before to add a text logo to a video, using a custom SSA file. You can center the text, add a border or drop shadow, change the font, etc., all in the *.ssa file. If you don't know how to make a custom SSA file, I recommend downloading Avery Lee's Subtitle Filter (http://www.virtualdub.org/virtualdub_filters) and viewing his demo.ssa file. You can even modify this with your own subtitles if you don't want to create the entire file on your own.

Hope this helps.

Good point about using an SSA script, Carraway. I was thinking more in terms of using AviSynth for this and hence said no to unexpected.

@unexpected: If you are not able to write the script on your own, I can help you write it.
