hd camera question + h264 1080i/p sample request

I have a question:
A HD Camera (1080i 1080p), on what device does it store its video/audio contents?

A HDD, a tape or something else?

Does anyone have a source sample from such a hd camera?

Also does anyone have have a h264 (MPEG4 AVC) 1080i or 1080p sample? From digital satellite or other sources....

There are several ways to generate HD footage:
- shoot on film and then scan it at HD res
- shoot with a HD 'video' camera, storage can be tape (Sony's HDCAM / Panasonic DVCPro HD etc.) or flash memory (Panasonics P2?) and more
