Having trouble with Nero 7 Ultra Edition

Whenever I burn a movie to a dvd it burns fine. But when I play it back on my dvd player, the audio is about 3-5 seconds off. So you read the lips, and then you hear the voice. I'm using Nero Vision, here are my settings.

Video mode: NTSC
Nero SmartEncoding: Enabled
Aspect Ratio: 16 : 9
Quality Setting: Automatic
Sample Format: Automatic
Encoding Mode: Fast encoding (1-Pass)
Audio Format: Automatic

What is the source of the video file you're burning? Are you copying a DVD or burning a file?

I'm burning a file. It's an Xvid file.

I didn't create the Xvid file. But to answer your question, the audio format is mp3. And yes it is synchronized when I play it.
