I ripped some home movies off of a DVD using DVD Decryptor's IFO mode. When I put these VOB files into TMPG DVD Author Pro, it only shows part of the video but when I play the VOB file in Intervideo WinDVD 5, it plays the whole clip. I've also tried to put these VOB's into Intervideo's WinDVD Creator 2 and in the preview, it shows the full clip, but when I try to burn the VOB's onto the HDD, some of these clips are cut short for no apparent reason. I've also tried converting these VOB's to MPEG 2 with MPEG2CUT and the MPEG files have the same problem. Does anyone know what is going on and how I fix this problem? I am stumped on this.

Hi!

Why are you going through all this trouble? If, as you stated, you have home movies on a DVD, they're not encrypted/copy protected. You can load the DVD DIRECTLY into "TMPGEnc DVD Author" and, do whatever it is you originally wanted to do...
