View Full Version : How to extract all titles seperated from a music-dvd (vob, mpg)

In the past years I created about 60 Musik-DVDs with MagiX Video Delux. Every music title on the DVD can be selected by the menu or skipped similary to audio-cds.
With the new external 300GB+ HDDs, i would like to copy all DVDs on HDD, every music title into a seperate file. Is there an easy way to do it, because splitting video and audio, cut, reencode (I do not really want to reencode everything ...) for every DVD will simply take too much time.
Is there a tool or a way to insert a DVD and press a few buttons and every music-video title is seperated on the HDD :confused:

Thanks in advance,

PS: I am not sure, if this is the correct forum for this question, sorry if it isn't. ;)

DVD Decrypter should be able to handle the task, but it won't do it automatically - you'll have to rip one chapter at a time, renaming the files or folder after each run. An easier method may be to rip the disks in their entirety in .ISO mode, which you can then mount as a virtual drive and view the files as a DVD, but from the HDD. Either way there will be no re-encoding, so no loss of quality.

@Ellysia

Are the DVDs structured so that each song is a separate TITLE (as well as a separate chapter), or only a separate CHAPTER?
