Problems:
1. On a few of the burnt DVDs I've tried the
video freezes after 2 seconds of playback
and the audio continues.
(a) Had 1 burnt DVD divided into 3 buttons or
chapters. The video froze on 2 of the buttons
but the audio was fine. The third button was
completely fine. After a couple more burn
attempts, I was able to burn a DVD where the
video and audio on all three buttons was fine.
2. After capturing the video on some
attempts, the playback in the MyDVD software
is sluggish.
Media used*:
1. Verbatim DVD+R
2. Verbatim DVD+R DL (Have had least success
with the dual)
*Have a package of Verbatim DVD-R but I
haven't cracked it open yet.
The software came bundled on an HP Media Center desktop:
1. 300 GB disk drive
2. 2 GB of memory
3. 2.8 GHz speed
4. Intel Pentium D
Any suggestions or helpful hints so I can overcome these problems? I've defragged, done disk cleanup, turned off hibernation, rebooted before burning, and I still can't shake the freezing or sometime sluggishness on the video capture.
Thanks,
Chris
