Is it possible to back up a DVD movie using 2 Pass mode on #1 DVD Ripper with DivX 6.2.1? I continue to receive "Wrong settings for avi video codec. This happens when you don't configure the video codec properly. In 2 Pass mode, please set 1st Pass as Multipass 1st Pass and set 2nd pass as multipass Nth Pass."
Cannot set 1st Pass and 2nd Pass as above. The program sets 1st & 2nd Pass the same as either "Multipass 1st Pass or multipass Nth Pass."

that error message sounds suspiciously like a DVDx error message (see the "people ripping people" sticky in general discussion). you didn't pay money for this software did you? if you did you probably shouldn't have...

either way, there's loads of ways to do a 2-pass encode off a DVD, so rest assured it can be done. i don't know how to do it with your particular piece of software (never heard of it), but i suggest you download DVDx and give that a try :)
