Sorry if this sounds a really stupid question but when clonedvd2 says transcoder disabled because the green bar says 100% does that mean that I will have the original dvd quality? In other words will I have a 1:1 copy

Welcome to the Forum:
I hope you've already tested this on your own, but in a word, "Yes".
If the little triangle-shaped slider is all the way over to "100%" this indicates that you're basically applying zero compression and the result will be a 1-to-1 copy of your source disc.
Look in the upper right of the CloneDVD2 interface and you'll see a small "Help" link that turns blue on mouseover. These are the same help files that you'll find on the CloneDVD2 website.
Was this actually the entire message you received?
"Target size is sufficient, transcoder disabled"
If so, it's pretty well self-explanatory, isn't it? ;)
