About news of Doom9, "DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.7.6 supports a few new disc corruption schemes, allows to ignore read errors when they are encountered" is correct ?
I tried with using DVD-R which I intentionally scratched and confirmed Read Error by DVDDecrypter. But not sucessed to find the function.
It is only DVDFabExpress ?

That only concerns DVDFab express, yes, for the moment.
Next release of DVDFabDecrypter will have probably those options. Wait and see.

Hi jinjin_jp,
DVDFab Decrypter also get this feature, sorry I don't mention it in changelog.
You should see popup window to ask you the action when reading error.

@fengtao
Thanks. But I can't see popup window, only just the ripping speed is very slow (like stopping, I cancel after several minutes) when there seems to be reading error.
Condition of scratch is related anything? (I confirmed Read Error by DVDDecrypter) Why I can't see popup window?

I tested a scratched disc too and I have the same result: no pop up window appears...

The only way to be sure is, to install the trial version of the latest DVDFab Express and try again with it to copy your scratched DVD!!! If a message pop up then DVDFab decrypter hasn't got this function yet! If nothing happens then something is wrong with this new function and needs to get fixed!!! :)

I tried DVDFab Express 2.9.7.6.
The result was same as DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.7.6, no pop up window appears.

DVD Fab Free version is great.
It doesn't let you change settings much,
not like you can with DVD Decrypter.
You don't need DVD43 or AnyDVD in the background.
No "movie only" setting, zb.
It is really a DVD backer upper for Dummies.
Just set directories and let it rip.
Easy peasy.
...
I no longer use DVD Decrypter to rip, only to burn.
I'm not saying that DVD Decrypter can't be used to rip
the newest commercial DVDs, but it is more work.
And I'm not saying that the extra work using DVDD won't pay
off with a better rip for those who are more technically inclined.
But this lazy old frog will take the easy road while it still works.

@JimS - you might like to consider RipIt4Me (http://www.digital-digest.com/software/RipIt4Me.html), which has wizard and 1-click functions and appears to be an excellent product.

I tried DVDFabDecrypter 3.0.0.1beta4 and could see popup window.
I tried both ARccOS DVD and intentionally scratched DVD.
Popup was shown when scratched, but not when ARccOS. It seems to distinguish.
Thanks very much for author.

For ARccOS, the unreadable sectors is skipped, so you will not get the "Reading Error" pop up window.
For scratched DVD, you do get the "Reading Error" pop up window, and you can choose what to do here.

@fentago
Thanks very much for new function and explanation.
I wonder how to use if not distinguish scratch and protect, it is very useful.
