When load an .ifo file as input, i cannot set the output file destination - the switch just doesnt come up with the browser - and subsequently cannot start encoding. Oddly enough, when i choose a vob file, it sets the destination automatically, or i can set the directory as expected. Bug?

plz help!

err...correction: The files somehow have to be in a dvd_title/video_ts folder to make the button work properly (i used a seceond rip i made to hd which was stored in such a way, the other was just in the root directory of the partition).

afaik there isn't need of dvd_title/video_ts for working... i agree that is better don't put files in hd root... but i had used autogk with dvd ripped in whatever directory...

in any case i am glad that it worked

Since you rip the disk in .IFO mode anyway, try ripping with file splitting set to none. You will then be able to load the complete .VOB instead of the .IFO into AutoGK, which will automatically set the destination folder as the one in which the ripped files reside (though I haven't tested this with XP themes enabled).
