Hello,
I am currently capturing HDTV with D-VHS v.0306 from my Motorola DCT6412' firewire port. Since a while, I seem to have more and more problems with the application:
1. A scheduled date I entered is randomly causing the error 'xx/xx/xxxx is not a valid date'. I know it is a valid date, and it doesn't happen while I enter it but without a known reason. If the error is up, it doesn't record.
2. The recording stops within the first seconds after schedule. It just stops seemingly without a reason and I have a 10 MB file. This only happens with a scheduled recording, never when I start it manually.
There are some other annoying parts about the application, like it sometimes seems to turn off the receiver when it is done recording.
Now I am wondering is some has noticed similar issues with D-VHS or if someone knows of another GUI tool for recording the transport stream off a DCT6412?
I don't know much about the app, I have used the recommended standard settings to record hundreds of shows with it but suddenly it doesn't like me anymore.
Any suggestions?
