I'm trying to figure out if there is already a Disc ID somehow encoded onto DVD's, or if people saying there is one, just make up some magic algorithm ( DVD Profiler (http://www.dvdprofiler.com/dvdpro/index.html) claims that Disc ID's are imprinted on DVDs and may be read with a DVD-ROM drive).
Example:
Vampire Hunter D: Special Edition Disc
Label: VAM_HUNT_D
"ID" from DVD Profiler: 0F77D5F2
I'd like to be able to generate or rip the ID from the DVD, for a library program I'm trying to create. Thanks.
