Iv tried looking for guides but didn't come up with anything, My usualy step by step process is DVDDecrypter>file mode>voblanker (blank extras n unneccessary scenes) menushrink then a run through CCE and dvdrebuilder then its menuedit to clean up the menus and burn. Now I have a problem I have multiple Angles which I a) dont want and b) dont need So how would i go about removing them to optimize maximum space for the dvd to have the lowest possible compression on the main video.
If it kinda sounds all garbled up just ask and ill try to clarify. But it would be really helpful if you guys can share some insight onto this.
Note: Vobblanker does not support multiple angles hence my main problem, this is my first DVD9 to DVD5 with multile angles. THe movie is Matrix, thanks.

as far as i know, ,the original matrix movie contains seamless multi-storey (ILVU) not multi-angle.
if you are the proud owner of dvd-rb pro, it can process these titles.
also dvd-remake pro can handle ILVU for blanking etc.
beyond that, afaik, only transcoders can handle such content.
good luck

wow ... thats an old thread.
to be honest i would use dvd-rb pro to re-encode this dvd using cce. it will correctly re-author the ILVU and give you flexibility in removing unwanted extras.
another option is to use the "big 3" method and use either scenarist or muxman to re-author. this gives you the ability to remove unwanted material - however it will be a VERY complicated venture, and will not be an exact copy as both muxman and scenarist can only do "pseudo" seamless branching, not ILVU (at this stage)
good luck

k so there is no way to remove the extra ILVU frames to allow for minimum compression?
Also how does DVD-RB process these? Like does it blank them out does it allow you to blank it out or does it compress them aswell because i just want to remove them.

to be honest, i am not entirely sure why you want to remove the ILVU segments? they take up little space, and the beauty of the matrix dvd is not only the movie but the extras and the (at the time) inovative authoring used.
but hey, its not my back-up ....
i am not sure how dvd-rb treats removal of ILVU.
with the "big 3" method, all you would do is deselct the non-required pgc's in dif4u and proceed as usual ....

hmm k but how would i go about removing the extras from the matrix as this is a backup and ill still have the original if i want to view extras, will DVDRB PRO properly process and remove the extras? Because i had a friend who tried it on Natural Born Killers the Menu+movie and it kinda missed a few extras
