How could one go about creating an .ISO image file (from the rip of a commercial DVD) including compressed video and the PC-only or DVD-ROM extras (Files that are in the root directory of the DVD, not in the "VIDEO_TS" directory)?

@r0lZUse PgcEdit! Simple!I guess there's something I'm not seeing in the setup of PGCEdit - I see only how I can make an ISO image file of a "VIDEO_TS" folder, not a"VIDEO_TS" folder and PC/DVD ROM "extras" in the root menu...
Can you explain?

Just put your DVD-ROM files in the parent folder of VIDEO_TS, exactly the way you want them on your backup, and burn. They will be included in the ISO. You can also put them in subfolders if you wish. (However, note that the backup folders of most of the reauthoring tools are automatically removed.)
Simple, I said!
