Hi
First, thanks for this great soft
Second, sorry because my english

i have this problem:
The first frame of the resulting video is not the first frame of the original avi.
AutoGK copy (or take, i don't know) a keyframe (around 30600) and put it in the first place.
it never happen to me when i convert from DVD to avi.
just avi to avi

I'm using AutoGK 2.26/2.27
i tried with eleven different videos and it happen all the times.
all the original avis are divx 5.0 (Gspot) and I'm trying to convert those to xvid

i have to said that if i play the avs files (*_agk_comptest.avs and *_agk_movie.avs) with "Window Media Player" the extra frame is there.
So i think the problem is with the avs files (but i really don't know)

Thank you

Hi!all the original avis are divx 5.0 (Gspot) and I'm trying to convert those to xvidI'm curious to understand - What do you hope to gain by converting DivX-compressed .AVis into XviD-compressed .AVIs?

setarip_old:
the original avis have a wrong AR and i choose xvid to convert them to 4:3
i've tested to convert them to divx but the problem is still there because the avs file is read with the extra frame

more info:
i modified the avs files:
i change the movie target to others avis and the extra frame appears when the source is divx but it doesn't appear when the source is xvid.
another thing: when i change the "frames/sec" in the "movie = DirectShowSource..." line, the extra frame change
Any ideas??

Did you create the original DivX-compressed .AVIs with AutoGK?

I'm sorry aljoraca, but we can't help you with downloaded movies, or movies you didn't make yourself from your own DVDs. I'll admit what you have is an interesting problem, although I haven't the slightest idea why it's happening to you. I've never heard of this problem being reported before. Since the original encoder didn't know what he was doing and created it with a bad Aspect Ratio, there may be other things wrong with it as well, maybe even something that causes a wrong frame to be displayed at the beginning of the movie when being converted (although I fail to understand how that could be).

Please read the Announcement:

http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?f=6

and the rules, particularly Rule 6:

Thread Closed.

Well, I received a PM from aljoraca which convinced me he wasn't breaking any rules with his problem. I'll admit to not knowing how to solve his problem, or not even knowing any tests to run to try and pinpoint the source of the problem. But if anyone else has any ideas, please let us know.

Edit: Hey setarip_old, please turn on your PMs. I've tried to send you a message regarding this one, but can't. Maybe send me a PM to which I can reply. Thanks.
