Hi all,

Is it possible to use de-muxed streams/files as input to AutoGK? For example, I would like to use a MPEG2 video file (.m2v) and an AC3 audio file (.ac3).

Thanks in Advance
Odje

P.S. If this is not possible, does anyone have any recommendation on a muxing program?

Hi-

Auto GK will use one of the streams within the source. If you want to use an external audio stream, then allow room for it and the overhead, and mux afterwards using VDubMod.

If you want to mux the M2V and the AC3, if they're DVD compliant, then any DVD authoring program (such as Muxman) will do it. If not DVD compliant, then you can create an MPEG with a number of programs. One would be TMPGEnc.

I would say manono's first suggestion would be far easier. It would only take a bit of math, in fact you could demux the audio you don't plan to use just to see what size it is and add or subtract what you need when setting up the encode.
