I used CladDVD 2.0 to rip a dvd. Afterwards I am trying to use flask to make them into an mpeg file. I'm using a program that tells me step by step how to do all this. In the program it says that decode audio must be marked. But it is greyed out. Please tell me how to fix this problem.

Hi,

I can't help you, because I don't know which software you used.

But why don't you you Flask Mpeg, or XMpeg (better). There is a good guide on Doom9 site !

And if you need some help on this soft, you can ask help to everyone here !

Good luck

You have an audio track that doesn't have DolbyDigital audio. See if there is another track that can be used. Otherwise you just have to extract the audio with another program. Doom9 (http://www.doom9.org) ;) has some good guides on the subject...

Vob2Audio is a great little program. It will convert the sound to VBR mp3 in one pass for ya. Lame is a better option for VBR, but Vob2Audio is good because of it's ease of use (Vob -> mp3). Lame has to have a WAV made first. Check it out in the download section. ;)
