When I use CCE 2.7 and DVD-RB 0.97 (didn't have problem with 0.96) and try to burn the resulting folder with Nero 7 I get a message.
"DVD-Video files reallocation failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue. Yes or No
If I click Yes the DVD is not playable.
But by deleting files VTS_01_0 and VTS_02_0 (both Mpeg files) and then try burning with Nero there is no problem what so ever. The two file are 0 KB.
Is this an error with DVD Rebuilder or my computer?
I ripped the DVD using DVD FabDecryter (latest version)
If some could please give me the link to DVD-RB 0.96 Installer version I would be most apprecaited.
:thanks:

This has been discussed many times before...
That error mesage appears everytime your DVD has a 0 lenght/size file... only Nero throws that message... ignore it... if for some reason your DVD comes unplayable... use a different Burning software... there are many free out there :)
just a note: that is not an error of DVD Rebuilder... those 0 size files are on the original... rebuilder just copies them to the backup... if the result becomes unplayable (after burning with Nero) and the original plays fine... tha means you have to thank Nero for chnging the files :D ... as I said... use another package :)

This is exactly why I don't recommend Nero. It "fixes" the disc without your consent -- and nicely gives you a coaster.

Please could you suggest another burning software as probably choose one not very compatible. Sorry for being a bit dull on the matter.

I always delete the 0 byte file. And then you can use Nero

@tanksta
Hi!
Does your original, purchased DVD contain -0- byte .VOBs named "VTS_01_0.VOB" and "VTS_02_0.VOB", or something different that may have been altered by DVDFab Decrypter?
What is the Title and Region of the DVD?

While DVD Fab may return null sectors for protected areas, I don't think it ever changes something to zero length.

I'm tired of hearing about this Nero error that always gets blamed on DVD-RB. I'm going to add ISO creation to the freeware version so people can burn with ImgBurn.

Please could you suggest another burning software
You can use both ImgTool Classic (http://www.coujo.de/download) or PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/) in connection with ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com).
All three are freeware and working excellent.
I've made also good experiences with ImgTool Burn which uses the Nero API but does a much better job compare to Nero alone.

[edit] Corrected myself I misread ImgTool Burn as "ImgBurn"

The dvd is transporter 2 region 2 and yes there are 0 KB on the original dvd. So it is Nero.
