That's what I want to do. What freeware programs can I use? I'm looking for best quality, it will be a gtalk conversation I am recording.

I looked into pod producer but it doesnt work properly. Also, what settings will I need in the Volume Control?

Pretty much any recording software you could use will record the way you want. Double-click Volume Control, click Options > Properties, select Recording, make sure "Stereo Mix" is checked and click Ok. Select Stereo Mix, again click Options > Properties and select Playback and click Ok. Make sure Mic is unchecked as well as any other source you want to record - you can adjust the master record level under Stereo Mix, and each individual input's level will directly affect the recording.

I dont have a stereo mix setttings....

I get good results with Freecorder, but since its a limited version, the quality is limited to only 32 kbps or something like that.

Also, i can only select one recording device at a time.

Record Speakers and Microphone at same time Also, i can only select one recording device at a time.If you can select only one recording device at a time, it would seem impossible, by definition, to record from two sources concurrently...

I guess you could set your microphone as your source and have your speaker output cranked up and facing toward the microphone - and record both your voice and the speaker output through the microphone...

Yes you do...

Again open Volume Control, click Options > Properties, select Recording and make sure "Stereo Mix" is checked on the lower list before you click Ok. You will then show Stereo Mix.

Furthermore, in response to setarip

I found a good program to do it: vEmotion. but to get better quality you needa buy it

There's another program to do it: Freecorder...but it has bad quality

And I really really need good quality for my recording.

Have you tried the wave out mix? It may be labelled differently on yours, though I've never seen it that way. Also check under "Other," if you have a drop-down list. I show Stereo Mix again under Second Analog Record.

Yes I have. But wave out mix records the speaker sound. But not the microphone sound (because I muted the mic...with the mic not muted the speaker sound becomes worse). So i unmuted the mic...but when I record like that the quality is throw-up worthy.

You probably need to use a headset, so the mic and speakers can't interfere. Otherwise feedback and echo is nasty.

if you have audacity (free, GPL) you should be able to record mic only in 1 track with your music/whatever in another track. then you can mix down to 1 track with the option of volume envelopes and EQ'ing, etc.

you can do this with Audition/cool edit pro too.

...unless i've misunderstood what you're trying to do, or you need to do stuff on the fly for some reason. in which case you might want to try bidule (search the audio forum).
