I have two questions regarding the use of AutoGK. The first concerns the Hidden Option for Color Correction. I noticed that using this option on an encode of the film "Broken Flowers," which is generally rather dark, there was a moment where (I'm assuming) the option suddenly kicked in causing a noticeable brightening and slight discoloration. My question isn't whether this is normal or how to fix it but rather if Color Correction really has a dramatic effect on high quality encodes? If I'm using 100% Target Quality in AutoGK is it beneficial to use Color Correction given the aforementioned problem?
My second question concerns the Output Resolution of encodes while using AutoGK. As I mentioned before, most of my encodes are done using 100% Target Quality. The problem is that even if the Input Resolution is 640x480 the encodes always come out as 720x544. Is this normal? Is there any quality degradation or other general disadvantages to this anomaly?
Great program, I've got no complaints just want to get the most out of it. All responses are greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Virg
