How to merge MPEG2 ts hd streams?

I have several .ts files, mpeg2 hdtv that I want to merge. I have tried copy/b which gives me errors when playing the result in media player classic. I also tried tmpgenc who refuses to recoginze the format. Any other suggestions?

have you tried to load them all into DGIndex... then Demux audio and video and finally multiplex the resulting video/audio streams?

Have you tried an appliation called HDTVtoMPEG2 (current version 1.11.87 AFAIK)?
