When using latest pro of dvdrb to backup The Exorcism Of Emily Rose, I tried it with the two filters active in dvdrb. The results was 3.80Gb. Tried it again with the same settings, without the filters, and it was 4.27Gb. Is this a normal behavior when using UnDot Deen filters? This is not the first Dvd I've had this happen with.

Yes, this is nornal when using UnDot() - it's really detail killer wich improve compressibility a lot

no actually deen() is the "detail killer wich improve compressibility a lot". undot() is very light.
look at this rather old post to see how much some different denoisers , including undot and deen(seperatly) improve compressability. there are of course newer denoisers such as fft denoisers and degrain etc which are not in that post because of its age. :)

What you'll find is that when you remove detail the "Q" gets better. When the Q gets to the "best I can possibly do" point for the encoder, it saturates and doesn't throw any more bits at it. The result can be an undersize.
The chances are you were doing a movie-only type of encoding, as that's usually when you see this kind of thing.
