Is this normal after the first step? IE you just do not change the message to say dvd-9 instead of dvd-5 as the ratio seems about right?

why does it say dvd-5 when I have dvd-9 selected?
thanks! Also the ratio seems off should be around 72%.

Well... I guess it's just one of those details that the developer forgets to update :)
How about the final size? good?

Actually I just looked at the code... it should do those calculations based upon the sizing needed for DVD-9 if it is selected. In this example it doesn't look like it's selected. I'll do some testing.

I am pretty sure the calcs are based on dvd-9 but it just says dvd-5.

Oh.... I missed the whole point here. The text incorrectly says DVD-5... ok -- I can fix that easy enough.

calcs are based on dvd-9 so I would say its just a small bug in saying dvd-5 instead of 9. although I said strip dts it seems to still use the dts in the calc..ie without dts stream it should be 72% not 60% reduction. I'd trust the value shown.

pressed movie dvd dvd-9 to dvd-9 still looks like it is still saying dvd-5 but the reduction is ok 100% as it should be. I am going back to 1.08 and see if i get this still..

Well, as that section of code didn't change between v1.08 and v1.09 I'd say the odds of a different result are low.

k thanks jd
its not a big deal but if you got time prolly should just fix it to say dvd-9.
after merging my vobs to make the total less than 10 (had 14 vobs of 1 gig). the compression is right on!
I did make my vob a bit smaller than 2 gig to avoid 32 bit pointer issues. now to encode...
