well at least I think that the news are mostly pretty well written with a little sarcasm, at least if there is news about DRM or other evil consumer screwing mechanisms
doom9 is my second page for news that I visit daily and that is only because of the alphabet ;) - there is no day in the week where i don't check doom9's news twice

there has been about 1000 news posts when i just wanted to comment but it still isn't possible
those news posts are screaming for discussion
it shouldn't be too hard to combine the forum with the main page
or to implement some kind of commenting system
i think this would make this site more "alive"
at the time the site is just a homepage for the link to the doom9's forum and of course the reviews and guides
but the news seem to be just the expressions of the site manager doom9 - one man's crusade

there should be a corner where we doom9 site users have an easily accessable place to express our opinion

sorry if this has been already in discussion
just my 2 cents

and sorry for my bad english :p

I'm all with you on that, but the I have to look at feasability. Sites that employ talkbacks and the likes run on a single server or at least a single location. My site runs on 6 servers on 3 continents and 5 different countries. There's but one database, and that's for the forum, and you can't just tie sites with non static content, and that are not always capable of running dynamic content, together with a database in another country..
